Choose New Jersey is partnering with the Commerce & Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) to host a 2-day event entitled “ExploreNJ” to showcase the benefits of investing in New Jersey.
New Jersey is the premier location for your US operations. More than 2,800 miles of highway, the largest cargo port on the east coast, a dozen commuter rail lines and 1,000 miles of freight line make it easy to move people and products throughout North America.
More than 40% of the U.S. population is located within a day’s drive of anywhere in the State. A business in central New Jersey can serve more than 22 million consumers within a 2 hour drive, who collectively have $800 billion in disposable income. Our perfect northeast location is close to major U.S. cities and financial/regulatory centers, including New York City and Washington D.C. which are 4 hours or less from central New Jersey. We have one of the most highly educated and highly skilled workforces in the U.S. – including the highest concentration of scientists and engineers in the world.
We have planned an active agenda which includes a mix of business and fun with free time to explore the area on your own. Attendees of ExploreNJ will be provided multiple opportunities to meet one-on-one with various business sector leaders including finance, legal, real estate, and logistics, who can help establish your business operations in New Jersey. Attendees will spend two nights (June 22nd and June 23rd) at the Residence Inn in Jersey City, which is directly across the river from New York City and a short seven minute train ride to downtown. Newark Airport is just a short taxi ride (eight miles) from the hotel, all events, event meals and transportation to and from events will be provided at no cost.
The first day will include a welcome breakfast at New Jersey City University’s School of Business, where we will focus on New Jersey’s Financial and Supply Chain Industries, panel discussions, and one-on-one meetings, followed by optional tours and activities that will showcase Jersey City, and the surrounding areas. The day will end with a networking event where attendees will have the opportunity to meet more than 100 of New Jersey’s business leaders. The second day will include a welcome breakfast at the Rutgers University’s Zimmerli Museum, panel discussions focused on New Jersey’s Higher Education and Healthcare Industries. ending with a farewell lunch.
We hope you can join us for this fun and informative event! Please note that we are limiting attendance so please register early. Registration deadline is June 17, 2022.
