Columbia Bank Foundation Grant Supports The Center for Hope and Safety

The Center for Hope and Safety in Rochelle Park has received a $44,100 grant from the Columbia Bank Foundation to repair a leaking roof and install a new HVAC system. The Center for Hope and Safety assists victims of domestic violence and aims to help clients heal and grow through a wide range of services that provide tools to leave violence.

“We are proud to assist the Center for Hope and Safety,” said Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank. “We applaud their efforts to provide a safe space and empower adults and children towards new beginnings.”

The Columbia Bank Foundation actively seeks to provide support in six major areas: affordable housing programs, community investment and economic development opportunities, financial literacy and educational opportunities, health and human services, food pantries, and the arts. Special consideration is always given to programs that provide a measurable community impact.
