December 5th, 2018

The 15th Annual Stevie Awards announced Jayne Warne, PE, President, won the Silver Award in the category of Female Entrepreneur of the Year – Business Services.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an international competition produced by the creators of the prestigious International Business Awards® and American Business Awards®. The Stevie is widely considered to be the world’s premier business award. With more than 500 businesswomen and their guests in attendance, the awards were announced at a gala dinner at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel. Nations represented at the event included Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Switzerland, U.S.A., United Kingdom, and Vietnam, among others. The presentations were broadcast worldwide.

“It is an extraordinary honor to win Silver in this international competition.  I want to congratulate all the other finalists in my category and wish them continued success.  I am extremely grateful and thankful for this type of recognition,” stated Warne.

Jayne Warne is an environmentalist, and under her guidance Matrix gives back to its communities, supporting the YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Arizona Department of Water Resources. A role model and advocate for attracting and retaining women into the engineering and environmental sciences, Jayne, a mother of three, supports a work-life balance, and continues to bring women into an industry typically associated with men.

Her successes have not gone unnoticed. In 2018, Jayne was featured in a lead article by ROI-NJ, a top business newspaper in New Jersey, and quoted in the 2018 Engineering Roundtable, Commerce magazine, the flagship publication of the Commerce & Industry Association of New Jersey.

Matrix has enjoyed many award recognitions such as the Inc. 5000 (2014), “Business of the Year’ (2010) and one of ‘New Jersey’s Finest Companies’ 2004.
