Member News — Commercial Real Estate & Charity Realty International Come Together for Veterans
November 5th, 2018

The New Jersey commercial real estate industry came together on October 17 at JR Cigar in Whippany, to cap off a year-long fund drive for Homes For Our Troops with a $12,000 grant, according to James Costanzo, President of Charity Realty International.

“We were deeply touched and overwhelmed by the generosity we received from the real estate community throughout the year. Support came from brokers, developers, bankers, engineers, lawyers and specialty contractors who saw the value in returning some pride and dignity to our most deserving heroes,” said Costanzo.

On November 10, Charity Realty International will present a check and attend the Key Ceremony for a Lance Corporal who lost both legs to an I.E.D. in Helmand Province Afghanistan. Homes For Our Troops has made over 40 major, special adaptations to his new home, such as; widening doorways, installing pull down shelving and roll-in showers. Independent, barrier-free living will allow him to focus on his recovery, where he and his family can start to rebuild their lives together, mortgage-free.

To learn more about this charity, or to donate to the drive, visit the event page before the end of 2018 at: www.myhfotusa.org/Beefsteak. Charity Realty International is a for profit commercial real estate brokerage and consulting firm that brings charity to the deal.
