CIANJ & COMMERCE Magazine Want to Know Why You Are a Company That Cares

The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey in partnership with COMMERCE Magazine will again salute corporate philanthropy at the 6th Annual Companies that Care Awards Reception on March 19, 2019, at Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville.

COMMERCE Magazine’s March 2019 issue will feature a Special Section on “Companies that Care: A Call to Service.” To be considered for an award and/or recognition in COMMERCE, please provide the following:

In 100-150 words, please describe how your company and employees contribute to a specific charitable cause, and explain why is it important. PLEASE DO NOT USE BULLETS IN YOUR ENTRY. Awards will be given for extraordinary efforts done in each of these categories:

  • Helping Children
  • Caring for Veterans
  • Feeding the Hungry
  • Outreach to the Homeless
  • Volunteering/Community Service
  • Raising Money for Charities with Company Events
  • Environmental Conservation, Sustainability and Recycling
  • Emergency Support for Employees and their Families 

Please provide a high-resolution jpeg photo of your team/employees working with this charity and a caption of no more than 30 words. Captions should describe the activity and not be a list of names for group photos.

The deadline for submissions is 3:00 P.M. EST on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018. All submissions should be emailed to Diane Walsh at [email protected]. If you have any questions, she can also be reached at 201-368-2100.

All winners will be announced at the reception on March 19, 2019.
