June 20th, 2018
Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank, is pleased to announce the grand opening of their 49th branch location in New Jersey. The new full-service branch, managed by Antonella Minardo, is located at 251 North Avenue West in Westfield.
Now open, official “Grand Opening” festivities will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 30. An exclusive free gift will be given to the first 100 visitors and throughout the day complimentary food, soft drinks and promotional items will be available, while supplies last.
Columbia’s grand opening specials include our High Yield Checking with an account opening bonus, special high yield Certificates of Deposit (CDs) and our Kid’s Count Savings Account with a matching contribution of up to $100. As part of Columbia’s community support efforts, for each new account opened and meeting certain deposit requirements through August 31, 2018, Columbia Bank will donate $10 to one of six designated local charities or community organizations. In addition to the donations, the top three vote getters will receive added donations of $2,500, $1,000 and $500, respectively.
According to Mr. Kemly, “We look forward to bringing full-service personal and business banking to Westfield and its surrounding communities. Columbia prides itself on offering an impressive selection of convenient, value-added banking services…from traditional consumer passbook, checking and savings accounts…to loans and residential mortgages…to online and mobile banking with free applications that turn your mobile device into your personal 24/7 banker…to commercial and SBA loans, lines of credit and business banking services designed to help any business grow.” The bank also offers retirement, health savings, wealth management and title services.
Conveniently located next to the commuter train station and municipal parking lot, Columbia’s new Westfield office has been designed around an enhanced customer experience featuring the latest in banking technology, including a video message screen, digital rate display and an “Intelligent ATM,” plus a modern interior design, low profile service units, private conference areas and a coin counter. Mr. Kemly also noted that “visitors to our new branch will always receive quality services, second to none…and as an added convenience, we will even rebate a dollar for parking!”
