Member News — Tackle Kids Cancer Is Latest Columbia Bank Foundation Donation Recipient
May 25th, 2018

Columbia Bank, through their Columbia Bank Foundation, recently made a $10,000 donation to Tackle Kids Cancer, a research program at the Child’s Cancer Institute at the Hackensack University Medical Center.

Shown participating in a special presentation are Lauren O’Reilly (left), Columbia Bank’s Senior Credit Analyst, and Amy Glazer, Director of Tackle Kids Cancer and Annual Giving.  Mrs. O’Reilly nominated this organization to receive this special donation.

“We are extremely pleased to help the efforts of Tackle Kids Cancer to find a cure for childhood cancers,” said Thomas Kemly, President and CEO of Columbia Bank.  “As a true community bank, Team Columbia remains committed to helping local organizations that really make a difference in our communities.”

Created to serve the needs of local communities, the Columbia Bank Foundation provides grants and contributions to organizations recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  The Columbia Bank Foundation actively seeks to provide support in four major areas: affordable housing programs, community investment and economic development opportunities, financial literacy and educational opportunities, and health and human services.  Special consideration is always given to programs that provide a measurable community impact.
