Member News — John Cromie of Connell Foley to be Honored at Inaugural Lawyers & Accountants Dinner

John Cromie, Chair of Connell Foley’s Corporate and Business Law Group, will be honored at the inaugural “Lawyers and Accountants Dinner” benefitting Eva’s Village, a local anti-poverty non-profit that strives to be a model social service organization dedicated to helping people in need. John and his fellow honorees — Patricia Barbarito, Esq. of Einhorn Harris and Marqus White, CPA of Sax Accounting — are being recognized for their dedication to serving Eva’s Village and the local community. The mission of Eva’s Village is “to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, treat the addicted and provide medical and dental care to the poor with respect for the human dignity of each individual.” Funds raised from the “Lawyers and Accountants Dinner” will help to support the organization’s network of services that provide care and hope to thousands of men, women and children each year. Through over 20 integrated programs, individuals struggling with poverty, homelessness, addiction and mental illness are able to work towards stability and a brighter future. He is well-versed in the areas of mergers and acquisitions; the purchase, sale, leasing and development of commercial real estate; and asset-based and real estate-based commercial loans and credit facilities. He often serves as outside general counsel to his clients, working with closely held businesses in a variety of industries.
