Member News — Hunterdon County Industrial Property Sale Sparks Donation to Veterans Charity
March 26th, 2018
Bloomsbury, a pastoral Hunterdon County town, is the site of the former headquarters and manufacturing plant of MontBlanc pens. On March 15, 2018, a portion of the campus, including a 22,500 square foot industrial facility was successfully marketed and sold through the brokerage firm of Charity Realty International, LLC.
“The functionality of the facility, with its clear spans, 8” concrete floors, primary power distribution and proximity to I-78 made the decision to buy 55 North Street easy for the purchaser 55 K Realty, who will place a commercial custom cabinet shop in the building,” said James Costanzo, president of Charity Realty. “The property traded for about $50/SF — a real bargain when compared to its more costly eastern neighbors where properties are selling for more than double that,” said Costanzo. “Hunterdon County has more to offer the state’s economy than horse farms”.
As a result of the sale, a wonderful veteran’s charity, Homes For Our Troops, who provide mortgage free, custom homes to our most severely injured heroes was awarded a $5,200 grant from Charity Realty International.
