Dave Brandon named CIANJ 90th Annual Meeting and Luncheon Keynote Speaker
July 19th, 2017

The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey is pleased to announce Chairman and CEO of Toys “R” Us Dave Brandon will be the keynote speaker at the 90th Annual Meeting and Luncheon in October. Brandon was selected to succeed Antonio Urcelay as Toys “R” Us CEO on June 2, 2015, and now oversees 864 locations in the United States and Puerto Rico with an additional 755 internationally.

Brandon ‘s rise up the corporate ladder did not happen overnight. A University of Michigan alum, Brandon began his career at Valassis Communications, Inc. where he stayed for 20 years and eventually landed the role as CEO in 1989. In 1999 Brandon joined Domino’s Pizza where he introduced new menu items and re-branded the company from within. After a short stint in the realm of politics, Brandon spent four years as the University of Michigan athletic director where he stayed until 2014.

CIANJ is celebrating its 90th year as a business organization and leader in free market advocacy. More than 500 guests are expected to attend the annual luncheon and hear Brandon share his personal tips and roadmap for business success.

The CIANJ 90th Annual Meeting and Luncheon takes place on Friday, October 27, 2017, at the Hilton Woodcliff Lake. Register and read more about the event here.
