Holy Name Medical Center was recognized for the third consecutive scoring period, as the only top-preforming hospital in Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, Essex and Union Counties, according to the recently released “Star Ratings” issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for Overall Quality.
Holy Name is one of only ten top hospitals in the state to receive four stars, according to rankings by CMS. In the last ranking, issued in October, Holy Name was also the only hospital to receive four stars in Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, Essex and Union Counties for the scoring period of 2015–2016.
“This third recognition by CMS demonstrates Holy Name’s continued commitment to provide high quality, affordable healthcare in a transparent, cost–effective manner,” says Michael Maron, President and CEO, Holy Name Medical Center. “These rankings give consumers important metrics that allow them to make more educated healthcare decisions.”
