Member News – Scarinci Hollenbeck
May 27th, 2016

5.27 scarinciScarinci Hollenbeck has announced that the attorneys of Bienstock & Michael, LLC, a New York and New Jersey-based boutique intellectual property and entertainment law group, are joining the firm.  Bienstock & Michael gained national prominence for their unprecedented trademark opposition victory against Fender Musical Instruments.  In addition, Bienstock & Michael has represented many gold and platinum-selling recording artists, as well as internationally-known actors, writers, producers and directors.  Ronald S. Bienstock will co-chair Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Intellectual Property, and Entertainment, Sports, & Media Law Groups. The combining of these two firms’ existing practice groups and capabilities expands Scarinci Hollenbeck’s intellectual property, litigation, and entertainment groups, while simultaneously offering Bienstock & Michael’s clients a broader range of legal services.

Russell Ascher, Scarinci Hollenbeck’s Executive Director, stated that “Combining the two firms is a win-win situation. We are further bolstering several of our core practice areas by adding the knowledge and experience of additional corporate and intellectual property attorneys. Moreover, we are substantially expanding our expertise in entertainment law. Also, Bienstock & Michael will now have the added resources needed to best serve their clients in other areas of the law, including employment, securities, and taxation.”
