Connell Foley is pleased to announce that Kate Murphy, a partner in the firm’s Insurance Defense Group, has been named the 2018 recipient of the Hon. Herman L. The Breitkopf Award is presented annually to the trial lawyer who best embodies the characteristics exemplified by Judge Breitkopf throughout his distinguished legal career, including honesty, integrity, intelligence and an unwavering concern for the welfare of both the bar and of its members. We are especially proud to note that Kate is the first woman to ever receive this prestigious award. Kate will be honored at the Breitkopf Award Dinner at Colonia Country Club on November 1, 2018.
