This crew of Columbia Bank employees, shown, recently took part in a “Volunteer Day” at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Randolph. The Team Columbia volunteers completed various work assignments, including moving warehouse stock, taking inventory and pricing items for sale. The ReStore sells donated items, like furniture, appliances and building materials, to the general public. All profits are then donated to Morris Habitat for Humanity in support of their affordable housing initiatives.
“We are extremely pleased to assist the Habitat for Humanity ReStore which, in turn, helps Morris Habitat with their charitable mission to refurbish and create new affordable housing,” said Thomas Kemly, Columbia Bank’s President and CEO. “As a true community-based bank, Team Columbia remains committed to helping local charities that make a difference in people’s lives.” Since 1993, Columbia has sponsored and provided funding for more than 170 New Jersey habitat home rebuilding projects.
