“We awarded $165,000 in scholarships last year, but our goal for 2018 is to raise $175,000 to help high school students go to college,” said Thomas Shara, President and CEO of Lakeland Bank. “This charity campaign provides an opportunity for everyone in our community to contribute to the Bank’s scholarship fund.”

For each new Like or Follow Lakeland Bank receives on its FacebookInstagram, and LinkedInprofiles between Sept. 1-30, 2018, the Bank will donate $1 to the scholarship fund, up to a maximum of $1,500. Once you show your support for the “Putting Fore a Purpose” charity campaign, spread the word to your family and friends.
