Berkeley College recently collected dog and cat food, treats, litter and cleaning supplies for Rosemarie’s Rescue Ranch in West Caldwell, NJ. The College collected more than 120 items for the animal rescue organization. “We are so appreciative of the wonderful volunteers at Berkeley College for selecting our rescue as a recipient of their generous donations,” said Susan Janett Paige, President and Co-Founder of Rosemarie’s Rescue Ranch. “We have already begun to utilize the food donations, toys and treats for new rescues who have arrived into our program. Many of these dogs and cats have never even seen a toy, let alone played with one. So many lives have been positively touched because of you.”
The collection was part of the Year of Giving, an initiative of Berkeley College Online® as it celebrates 20 years of distance learning. Each month, Berkeley College Online chooses an activity that aligns with Berkeley Cares, which seeks to empower the Berkeley College community to positively impact society.
