Elana Zolfo, EdD is now titled Dean, Berkeley College Larry L. Luing School of Business. Dr. Zolfo recently served as Vice President of Workforce Development for The Aerospace and Defense Diversification Alliance in Peacetime Transition.
Dr. Zolfo taught MBA courses at Dowling College in Oakdale, N.Y. During her time there, Dr. Zolfo participated in many leadership roles, including the role as Dean of the School of Business, Interim President and Interim Provost. Dr. Zolfo also taught at Suffolk County Community College in Selden, N.Y., and Nassau Community College in Garden City, N.Y.
Dr. Zolfo also carries an EdD in Education Leadership and Technology from Dowling College and an MBA in Management from Adelphi University in Garden City, N.Y., a BA in Psychology from Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., and an AAS in Psychology from Nassau Community College.
“Dr. Zolfo has more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration, collaborating with faculty and staff to create a more student-oriented culture, and forging partnerships with workforce organizations in the community,” said Beth M. Castiglia, Ph.D., Berkeley College Provost. “As Dean, she will provide academic and administrative leadership for the Larry L. Luing School of Business and degree programs, furthering curriculum development that engages Berkeley College students in their paths toward success.”
