Atlantic Stewardship Bank recently hosted a charity run/walk to benefit local Habit for Humanity affiliates as part of its 30th anniversary celebration of serving the financial needs of the northern New Jersey markets. “It gives me great pleasure to acknowledge the success of our ASB Charity Run/Walk for Housing,” said Paul Van Ostenbridge, President and CEO of Atlantic Stewardship Bank.
ASB’s first-ever Charity Run/Walk for Housing was held on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Garret Mountain in Woodland Park, New Jersey. ASB had over 120 participants run/walk and raised more than $28,000 in donations and sponsorships. The funds raised were donated to the Bergen, Morris & Paterson, New Jersey, Habitat for Humanity affiliates, which create decent and affordable housing for people in need.
“It was a proud moment for ASB and the event encapsulates our 30 years of service to the community and our purpose of raising money for worthy charitable causes through tithe, deed and donations,” noted Van Ostenbridge. “I am extremely grateful for the commitment, spirit of cooperation and energy displayed by all at the event, as well as thankful to our sponsors, donors and volunteers. These results are possible because of everyone’s combined efforts.”
