In a word- improving. The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development released its latest job numbers for New Jersey. Despite the peaks and valleys Wall Street is experiencing, the private sector job growth in New Jersey is strengthening. In 2015, New Jersey added 64,000 private sector jobs (bringing the total to 3.4 million private sector jobs). Leading the way in job growth is the education and health services sectors followed by transportation and utilities. More than 4.3 million residents are employed with 200,000 looking for work (New Jersey’s unemployment rate dropped to 5.1 %.).
