CIANJ Legislative Roundtable with Senator Ray Lesniak, Chairman of the Senate Economic Growth Committee - Tuesday, October 14th

Join CIANJ on October 14, 2008 for our Legislative Roundtable with Senator Ray Lesniak (D-20), Chairman of the Senate Economic Growth Committee, to discuss transportation, economic growth and education reform.

Senator Lesniak has served in the New Jersey legislature since 1977. He is the sponsor of the New Jersey Spill Compensation Act, the first fund in the nation to clean up hazardous waste sites, and the $100 million dollar Hazardous Discharge Bond Act. He is currently the prime sponsor of legislation to create a school choice pilot program in New Jersey’s urban school districts, urban revitalization measures and a Constitutional Amendment to require voter approval for all state borrowing.
