February 26th, 2016

The Les Paul Foundation has announced the official dedication and opening of the Les Paul Studio for Music Recording and Sound Design at Ramapo College of New Jersey to take place Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in H-204. The state-of-the-art music studio dedicated to the musical legend Les Paul will educate the musical luminaries of the future and bridges the worlds of analog and digital sound. Much like Les Paul, the studio was built to help students create and learn while giving them an opportunity to push their own boundaries as performers or in technology.

The official dedication will be marked by a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by Michael Braunstein, Executive Director of the Les Paul Foundation, Chris Lentz, Director of Media Archives for the Les Paul Foundation, Ramapo College President Peter P. Mercer, Gary Paul, grandson of Les Paul, Nicki Parrot, musician and member of the Les Paul Trio and Beth Anne Sanguesa, granddaughter of Les Paul and other representatives of Ramapo College.
