Member News – Clifton Savings Bank
June 8th, 2017

Clifton Savings Bank donated $7,500 to the City of Garfield to help fund festivities surrounding its centennial celebration. On May 24, 2017, Paul M. Aguggia, CSBK Chairman, President & CEO, and Geraldine Rambaldi, CSBK Assistant Vice President, Banking Center Manager, presented a check to Richard Rigoglioso, Mayor of Garfield and Thomas J. Duch, Esq., City Manager of Garfield.

CSBK, which has two locations in Garfield and has been a longtime contributor to a variety of causes for the municipality, presented the check as part of the city’s multi-pronged centennial commemoration. Thus far, the 100th anniversary celebration has included a parade and mud run, along with other fun community activities. Updates are available on the town’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/Garfield100Years.

“CSBK is proud to partner in celebrating 100 years of Garfield’s rich history,” said Paul M. Aguggia. Geraldine Rambaldi noted, “For more than 40 years, our bank has served the Garfield community. We have two full-service banking centers, a long history of participating in community events and donating to causes, and a scholarship program for graduating seniors of Garfield High School. CSBK takes great pleasure and pride in supporting the Garfield community on its centennial celebration.”
